About
Roland and Julia Stussi have been together for 11 years and are the proud hosts of Black Brook Lodge. They are the parents of three young children. Roland was born and raised on Vancouver Island. Julia was born and raised in a small Swiss town in the German speaking part of Switzerland. For most of his professional career, Roland has worked and managed in the tourism industry, and before that he worked in aviation as a helicopter mechanic. Julia is a seamstress by trade and continues to take on projects and work from home. As a family, they enjoy swimming and water activities, especially outdoors in rivers, lakes, and ocean. At home, they love playing board games and Lego. What Roland and Julia love most about running Black Brook Lodge is meeting fascinating people from all over. They relish the opportunity to provide them with a space in which they can create lasting memories.
